FALL SIGN DIY

I created a live video on my Facebook page but I also wanted to explained what I did here. It was a very simple project that anyone could do. This is my take on it but if you choose to make one of your own, feel free to experiment and make it your own. Ex: paint the wood instead of using craft paper. Use whatever color ribbon or change the words. Just have fun!

So here goes. I had some wood just laying around (scrap wood) and also everything else I needed. I cut a piece of scrapbooking paper to size and then mod pod it to the wood. I believe I found this leave at goodwill, it measured 12 inches after I cut them stem off. With hot glue I attached it to the scrapbook paper. I had the wooden letters from Dollar General and picked out the word FALL and painted them a dark brown and hot glued them on top of the leave. Using pieces of ribbon, I already had, I made a very simple bow, added a little piece of berry stem to the bow and hot glued it to the side of the wood, as pictured. Walla, finished it and it turned out so sweet. I just leaned mine against a wall and added a large fabric pumpkin to the display but you could also hot glue a ribbon piece to the back and hang on the wall. Again, just have fun with it and make it your own.
