Wow, this came out so good and easy to make.
1LB of smoked turkey sausage, sliced in 1/8 to ¼ inches
8 oz any brand medium of noodles
1 16 oz frozen medley vegetables cauliflower, carrots and broccoli
1 cup of chicken or beef stock
Low sodium Soy Sauce, brown sugar, salt and pepper, garlic and onion powder
In a skillet I browned my sausage and onion on medium high, stirring occasionally.
While that was browning, I started to boil my water for noodles adding salt to the water. When it came to a boil, I added the noodles.
When most of the sausage was browned, I added my vegetables along with salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder and turned the heat to medium and covered. You may need to add a little water so the steam.
Cook your vegetables to desired doneness
I browned them first to give a little crunch but then basically steamed them the rest of the way, we like ours on the soft side.
When vegetables where almost ready I added 2 tablespoon of soy sauce, my chicken stock, along with tablespoon, less or more depending on your taste, of brown sugar. We like ours on the sweeter side so may have added more. When everything was hot and ready, I drained my noodles and plated them and added the sausage and vegetables as the topping.
We love Chinese food but I get tired of the rice so this is why I used the noodles.
